Missed Birthday

So my boyfriend came over to see me on my birthday. At first people kept barging in my room just taking whatever they wanted and then my boyfriend when downstairs at around 12 in the dream (spending a total of what felt like 10 minutes with me) to hang out with my cousins. Every once in a while I would go down there and ask him to come hang out with me because I hadn’t seen him in forever and I missed him but he never came to see me. Right before I woke up it was 10 at night in the dream and the party was still going. He still hadn’t came upstairs to see me and so I was trying to convince him to come and at least look at me but he would just avoid answering and I woke up.
