Librarian doesn’t give me the books I want

I am at an old library with warm lighting and all tables and bookcases are wooden. I am sitting with a librarian at one of tables and I have a book with me I really like. So I ask him if there are more books of this genre. Then he tells me there aren’t many books in this genre, actually your book is one of its kind. I keep asking it differently, but he only gives my book as an option.
