For some reason I got picked as the lead. I was very excited but all the other women were jealous, especially because they were all interested in acting and had experience while I did not. But I was confident I would try hard and do my best. The women told me I wasn’t pretty enough or thin enough to portray Juliet. We spent all our rehearsal time arguing and them sabotaging me which resulted in us arriving at opening night not having even read a single line. We were all going to have earpieces where someone would be reading our lines to us. But I was terrified about the musical numbers. I wasn’t sure how I could sing in real time like that, on beat, correct pitch, listening to the earpiece, it all seemed incredibly challenging. We were about to go on and I couldn’t find my dress. Everyone else was dressed with their makeup done and I was frantically searching everywhere. They hid it to sabotage me once again.
