Couldn't remember any dreams from last night so I'll write about my first experience with sleep paralysis. This happened when I was in high school (senior year). I was having personal issues with myself and with family at the time and I just hated going to school because I had bad social anxiety. This particular day I decided to skip school and hide out under my bed to make it look like I had gone, and so my mom wouldn't find me. So also a little backstory on this house we grew up in...my siblings and I played the Oiija board RELIGIOUSLY. It was a really nice two story newly built house, so it doesn't LOOK creepy. But you better believe that house was haunted AF thanks to us dumb meddling kids. Anyways, I was under my bed trying to fall asleep. I hear my bedroom door open and see a pair of feet walking in. They were a chunkier set of feet which I thought had belonged to my stepbrother, but he was at school at the time. I followed the feet with my eyes. They walked around the perimeter of my bed starting from the left side, then ended up on the right side. I was staring thinking that he'd look under the bed or say something but it was just standing there for a while. The feet then disappeared into thin air and I start having convulsions like I'm having a seizure. I try to look around and scream for help but of course I couldn't. I couldn't move or speak or do anything, it's like I was trapped in my own body. Eventually the "seizure" stops and I'm still paralyzed. It was SO SCARY! I felt like I was totally conscious the whole time but just had no control of anything. Thankfully now that I'm grown and out of that creepy house, NONE of this happens to me any more 😬
