Breaking up and old apartment

I'm not sure how the dream started, but I was with my boyfriend. He worked at a college and this college I have dreamed about before. He had a friend with hum that I had never met before. We were hungry so we decided to get some burgers. Somehow along the way, we got into a fight. I was upset because we never spent any time together anymore and he wasn't thing me things. Like we went to the apartment at the college and it was not an apartment at all. It was just a closet with a washer and dryer and room to hang up clothes. He said he had been sleeping in his office. In a previous dream I had an apartment at this college. Bit couldn't pay for it anymore so I left. Well, I still had a key, so I decided to see if it still worked, and it did. I was shocked that I still had the apartment after not paying for like a year. He was trying to convince me not to break up, so I asked when was the last time we did anything together and he had mentioned a paragliding thing at the college lake, then his friend said, you mean the toxic lake nobody should be in. Then I asked before that what had we done and he couldn't think of anything at all. He started to try and be sweet (friend isn't here at this point, not sure where he had gone) we went into my apartment to see if I had any of his stuff to give back. I know there was more, but I woke up before anything g got resolved. That's about all I remember.
