Campsite

I was out on this plot of land that I think was family land or something. This was also kind of a deja vu dream where I feel like I’ve been to this spot before in a dream. There was this little gravel road that deadended into a really small parking area kind of like a trail head. On the far side was this little small low flow dam maybe yard high or so and with a bunch of rocks and logs and things just down the river from it. On the other side was a small little campsite that I guess we had made surrounded but decently thick woods. To the right of the campsite back toward the direction of the gravel road was this little trail that crisscrossed the woods although it was quite small and I liked to believe I was the only one who knew about it and could get down it. (Thats one of the things I miss about being young and little, is being able to squeeze down tight spaces, it’s so much easier to hide when you’re little) there was this small maybe 3 foot diameter slight divot just big enough to squat down in or sit cross legged in. It was like a little nest. There was also a trail that went along the gravel road that also connected into my little sanctuary. I noticed a tire tread that I think came from my dads wheel barrow. There was also sort of a high road low road trail that the tread would occasionally jump up and down from. Just some thoughts on what might have been the inspiration for this dream. Right before we moved when I was little before the development company came through and bulldozed all of the woods around our old house we had tons of trails in the woods that my dad would maintain. Across our gravel road where paul’s house used to be (before they tore that house down to) a trail that my dad had made to a little fire ring and campsite that we slept at a couple times. Another thing that I thought of was the nature camp that I would always go to over the summer and the kids buit this network of tunnels underneath this massive blackberry thicket that the adults weren’t able to get to. It was actually super cool.
