I don't know how this dream started. I was on the run from something or someone, I don't know which. I found myself in I think what was either a library or cafe (both?). I was a woman, but didn't look like me. It's like I was almost watching in 3rd person, it was somewhere in between that and seeing through my own eyes. It was strange, maybe it was flipping between the two, it's really hard to tell. A small group of people tried to grab my arms (I'm not sure if this is who I was running from but I knew I had to get away). I couldn't break free so I screamed...whoa, apparently I have some kind of power. My scream dropped everyone to their knees covering their ears and shattered glass. It was pretty intense. I was almost in shock because I didn't realize that would happen. I ran. Suddenly everything was different. It's like there was a gap of nothing. Perhaps a gap between dreams? Was this the same dream or a new dream? I really don't know. It's like I was just dropped in the midst of a battle in a town. I wasn't me, again. I was, but I was a man now, running through this town. It's hard to tell what kind of battle was going on, all out war between armies with gun shots and explosions? I don't think so, but my surroundings are hazy and it's really hard to tell. I only know there is a fight. Everything else apparently wasn't my focus. Then I knew my mission. There was a person (or small group) in charge of the "bad guys" and I had to stop them. I enter a building knowing I have to get to the top, that's where they're hiding. I pull out a weapon from under my long jacket (I think I was wearing a trench coat?). It was a knife. A big knife. I pulled it out of the sheathing as I snuck quietly up to the top and began to search rooms. Then I wasn't sure if I was still this man or I was changed back to my current self. That "fact" suddenly became hazy. As I turned the corner to a room this woman almost ran into me. She was one of them. One of the ones I knew I needed to defeat. She was wearing a white towel like she just got out of the shower. Her hair was dry though, long and blonde. She looked familiar. Very familiar. I felt like I knew her but I couldn't place her. I pulled out my knife knowing what I needed to do, and instantly thought, "why didn't I bring a gun? This would be over so much faster if I had just brought a gun." We began to circle as we're about to embrace in a fight, and as we do I quickly lunge around swinging my arm to stab her in the chest. I make contact but the knife only enters a little. It's like I hit something rock solid. I think to myself, "well duh her rib cage. Why do they make this look so easy in movies? I definitely should've brought a gun." We continue to circle and I end up stabbing her several more times in the chest and upped back. Each time the knife only entering a small amount. She wasn't super human or anything, but It was an extremely difficult task for me. She spoke to me as this was happening but I can't remember what she had said exactly. Something about what she would have done to me if she had found me first. We continue to fight, me with the knowledge that me ending this would end the battle. Before I could end it, I awoke.
