Last night I had dreams within dreams. The first one started with my friend Sergio. Him and I wanted to go hiking and there was this group of 5 blonde girls that wanted to join us. I have no idea who these girls were but we decided to hitch a ride with them. We all crammed into this little car and I told the girl that was driving to take us to my truck and then we would drive the truck to the hike. Sergio was in the front passenger seat and I was right behind him. We got to a hill and I told the girls my truck was on the opposite side of the hill and that I’d walk over and get it. Sergio decided to accompany me because he didn’t want me walking alone. We start walking over the hill along a trail and I admired the scenery. It was like we were in a jungle full of tropical plants. Finally we got to the top and I could see my truck. But it looked like a storm was headed our way, it became windy and dark outside and there were branches that had blown over the truck. Sergio started climbing down the hill and I followed. He went around a corner and I saw a tornado go in the same direction. I cried out for Sergio but he was gone. I started searching frantically for him but couldn’t find him. Then I started to wake up in my bed, except my bed was on this beach. But I thought this was normal. I tried to sit up but I was paralyzed. Then I saw the figure and felt the hot breath on my face and I knew it was happening again. I tried with all my might to scream or claw at my husband but he didn’t hear me and I couldn’t move. Then I broke free and sat up. My husband woke and he comforted me. We were still on the beach and I stood up and walked to the foot of the bed and asked my husband, is this real, am I awake. Something felt, off. We were at the beach, and my husband was wearing a shirt to bed (he never wears a shirt to bed). He said, “yes of course”. Then as I was standing there my arms were pulled backwards and then I was on my back on the bed again and it happened again, I couldn’t move and I tried desperately to scream and I couldn’t breathe and then I broke free because my husband was trying to wake me. He had noticed I was gasping and knew it was happening. I was finally awake, back in our bedroom in our house. No beach, no shirt.
