Mum asks sister and I to leave dad for jobs. She must hate us. She denies that, but is she lying? She wants to make ends meet without doing the work. It's dangerous for kids under 25 to work. Does she want us to die? If one survives till ones 25th birthday, most likely one will live till old age. One will become a dinosaur; It's almost guaranteed.
