It was like I was watching an episode of the Ouran High School Host Club. The dream started in my house, and the gang was preparing for a celebration that the host club was having. It was going to be super fancy. Haruhi was acting a bit strange because she was realizing that she had feelings for the boy she used to go to school with, Arai (from the summer episodes). She was in my basement with Kyoya, and it was obvious he liked her, but he was being mean to her because he thought his family would never allow him to be with a commoner. My black cat came up to them, which I thought symbolized love, but Haruhi left Kyoya in the basement. She went upstairs to my room, and suddenly I was Haruhi. I laid on the floor and moaned, unsure of what to wear for the celebration. Hikaru and Kaoru popped in dressed in purple, elaborate girl’s clothes, telling me to choose one of the outfits they had on. I said that both of them were ridiculous and I wasn’t going to wear them. They asked me why and I said it was because an old school friend of mine would be visiting the celebration, and it got out that I wanted him to like what I was wearing. Hikaru and Kaoru raised their eyebrows and stopping fussing, looking at me. In sync, they said, “Oh? Tell us more.” My eyes widened when I realized what I said and I covered my mouth, embarrassed. I did care what Arai thought of me. We were then at the celebration. I asked to wear a simple, blue butler kind of getup meant for a boy. It was such a fancy celebration, with tea sets, music, dancing, and more all in a large, pink room. I was thinking about Arai, and I could tell the host club was as well. They were sad that I liked him. I walked towards the coat rack when Tamaki pulled me in and we kind of tussled in a fake puff of smoke. When we came out of the coat rack, he had put a GORGEOUS blue dress on me. It wasn’t too little or too much. It was light blue, almost turquoise, and off the shoulder with hints of gold. It sparkled, and the skirt puffed out a bit. Everyone awed at the dress, and at me. At first, I turned red and got mad at Tamaki. He had clearly heard about Arai and looked away sadly. He said something like, “Whether you’re a boy or a girl, Haruhi, you deserve the best.” That’s when Arai came running in on the second floor, coming in through the balcony entrance. He yelled “HARUHI!” Everyone gasped and looked up at Arai, who was wearing a very casual swim shirt and shorts. He smiled and waved, and I did so in return. All the host club members turned to slate. Tamaki recovered and came up to me, and started leading me to the exit. I was suddenly wearing a similar swim shirt and shorts to Arai. Tamaki held my hand as we left the building. Arai was there and greeted us, telling me to follow him as he ran towards a group of commoner kids and adults. Tamaki said, “Wow, this looks like fun,” as he watched kids run around in sprinklers. It was like there was this big open field of kids playing right behind Ouran and the celebration. Tamaki let go of my hand, even though I wanted to hold on a little longer, and awkwardly looked away.
