My friend and I were still in school. i had to be admitted to the hospital again idk what for exactly, but he was always with me and tried to keep me comfy and clean me up when i was released; hed wipe me down and give me kisses. Right as i fully recovered and bathed on my own, i saw my arms in the light. It was just like our convo the other day— I could see the faint translucent blisters coming along my arm. I had picked up monkeypox from the hospital when they worked on me. I must've been too out if it to notice symptoms when they released me. I tried to tell him to go away and not to touch me, but hes cared for me a week already. Then i saw his arms, faintly blistered. All we could do was stick together at that point, and hope he hadn't given it to his family. My arms were not necessarily itchy, but felt extremely irritated, hot, and like my skin was tight— expanding or tearing. I dont wanna feel that ever again
