Searching for a bathroom at the theater

I was touring the Macalester College campus, when I needed to go to the bathroom. Someone directed me to the theater building. There was a play going on, and John and Shirley were in line to see it. John had to go to the bathroom too. So we both went to find the bathrooms and you sort of had to go across the stage in order to get to them. Macalester at that time was known for very bad theater productions. This was a preview performance. I think it was Shakespeare. But I don’t know. Anyway, I found the ladies room and John tried to follow me into it, but I directed him to the men’s room and he had to walk across the stage in order to get to it. The production was supposed to be starting. But it was so disorganized you couldn’t tell. Plus John is walking across the stage. I kept walking around backstage looking for the bathroom. People were busy and normal backstage things were going on. Finally I found what I thought was supposed to be the bathroom but there was no toilet there so I decided I couldn’t wait. Then I woke up and had to go to the bathroom.
