Julio is joining me for some meeting at the bowling alley on 7. I am running late and find out the meeting is canceled. It's raining, dark, cold, early winter. I see Julio running on the sidewalk a few blocks away, also late. I will turn around and catch him in my car, and drive him back to the station. But I turn around and my car is stuck in the muddy shoulder. I get out and lift the car back onto the road. It is quite light. I drive back towards the bowling alley but don't see Julio.
