Winter Polar Dip

In this dream I was booking a car to go and get groceries. I went to a new place that was like an underground, basement, produce place. The quality of the veggies was very similar to my old job at the Warehouse Market and everything was so cheap! I loved it. I considered it to get a job there. I started filling my basket and then I ran into Steph, he was now working there and had abandoned WM. I was pissed and perturbed, wondering why I was fired when they themselves didn't want to be there. I continued to walk around and also ran into Jen who I accidentally made a comment towards about the Warehouse Market failing. She denied that it was true, in a mousey way and said her and David were just at this super market pricing items. I left the store and got back into my car, I had a car share and was 3 mins over the limit so I booked it a little bit further until 5pm. I'm driving through somewhere that feels like Bedford basin and I see some folks are getting on wetsuits to go into the harbor. There is snow on the ground and the group is very diverse. My friend Cass is there and she wants to get better at handling the cold while surfing. We all suit up and I realized I don't have any booties, just bare feet and I can literally feel how cold my feet are. I handle it and keep going. We stop in front of a fountain or sculpture to take a photo and then everyone starts jumping in the water. I pass a little indian boy on the board walk who is doing something to the brick building, I accidentally drop a small piece of garbage into the water right next to him, it's too far to reach so I leave it in there apologetically. I go a little further and his mom and little brother are in the beach section. Becca, my friend, is in the water and I ask her how it is. She described the depth and temperature, it seems totally fine but it is FILLED with reeds, like the whole harbor is thick underwater grass. I don't like that part. I can't remember if I go in or not but I remember the cold not being that bad. I leave the harbor and see Rob V leave too, in his bright orange, vintage truck with 3 older men in it. The next scene I am with Catherine and Bran and maybe a couple other people and we're talking about lunch. We want to make beans or soup and I explain that I have some avocado toast for 3 people in my lunch bag. I offer Bran a piece and he takes it and eats it but it doesn't seem like that's what he wants. We're talking about a crock pot and an inflatable dragon or something and whether or not to leave it there..? The end!
