I had a dream that I left my apartment in Loveland, just outside Cincinnati, to run some errands. I was expected to be gone for a good part of the day. So, I kissed my girlfriend goodbye, and got in an Uber. I don’t remember everything I had done. It was a lot of running around. Somehow, my errands took me to Kentucky, the next state over. We live about 45 minutes from the Kentucky Ohio border. However, I didn’t realize I was in Kentucky at that time. I thought I was still in Ohio. Anyway, So I was in Kentucky, when all of a sudden, my phone died. I had no way to charge it either, it was dead as a door nail, and I was far away from home. But I didn’t realize how far yet. I decided I would try to walk back home, since I didn’t think I had any other choice. My phone was dead, so I couldn’t call someone, and there was nobody in sight, so I decided to start walking. I had crossed a couple streets and walked a little ways, when a pickup truck pulled up beside me. The man asked if I needed help. I told him I’m trying to go back to Cincinnati, that my battery was dead, and I had no way to get home. It was then the man informed me that I was in Kentucky, and I realized just how far away I was. He opened his passenger door for me, and agreed to take me home. I thought it was harmless enough. He had his children in the back seat with him, so I thought he was just a Good Samaritan. Things were fine for a little while, then, he just went crazy and started yelling. Calling everybody fool, including his children. I was so scared, and I pleaded with him to please just take me home. I needed to get back to my girlfriend, and that she’d probably be worried because my phone was dead, and I couldn’t get a hold of her. But there was no reasoning with this guy. Thankfully I woke up soon after.
