Where tf is Devin?

Lia and I are sitting in a living room on a  couch opposite a sliding door, just kiki-ing like we do. I get up to go close the door and two cats come into the yard (they jump down from the wall). It's a small circular yard with a tree next to the wall that creates a grove-esque area. One of the cats, a very dark Maine Coon that looks like it's been through some stuff, hangs back by the tree while the other comes and rubs itself on my leg. It's a a slightly big and friendly Egyptian Mau. I crouch to scratch them behind the ear, thinking it's my nephew's cat, Leopold. The cat looks at me and in a gargled voice, like one not meant for speaking, says: "I want to speak to Devin". I stand up shocked and confused; Lia and I were just talking about a girl named Devin, a little girl about my nephew's age who we all don't really like because she acts a little spoiled. She was also there at the house that day - we were having a pool party and since she's our neighbour, she had been invited. I walk to the back of the yard along a cobbled stone pathway that's lined with trees on one side and the house on the other. As I'm walking I pass a pure white cat with the yellowest eyes who hisses "Where's the cat named Devin?" at me. I nervously continue my walk to the back where everyone is in the pool, why is the water so green? The weather is also looking quite overcast now. Everyone is in and around the pool playing and having fun: mostly family members I've just seen over Christmas, but no Devin. I try to tell them what happened with the cat but no one believed me. Or rather, no one really acknowledged me? I go into the kitchen where Rob and Cal are cooking and my Dad is just standing there, in the archway between the kitchen and the living room where I had just sat with Lia. I tell them what had happened and my siblings instantly believe me - very nonchalantly I might add - as I was freaking out a little bit like why is the cat talking?? Robin looks at me, in a way that's almost an eyeroll, and flatly says that they're obviously just looking for Devin.
