Wait, How Long Have You Been On The Teem?

The dream started out with me my mom and a random girl, who I guess was my friend at the beach. I was swimming in the ocean with a sea turtle, then my mom told me to put sunscreen on so I got out of the water and sat down next to my friend. As we were putting sunscreen on my mom jumped up and yelled, "we have to go, your going to be late for your meet! Next seen: I was walking out onto the pool deck, check in for the meet was already closed so I had to talk to this lady through a glass wall to figure what events I was in. It turned out that I wasn't in any that day. I turned back to the pool and saw that a race was about to start. There was only one heat and the race was only a 25 freestyle. I don't remember who won. At the end of the race all the swimmers got out and walked over to me. Jared. W, Two girl I didn't recognize and one girl I know by face where there. "Jared! I didn't know you swam!" I exclaimed. (In real life he only plays soccer.) "of course he swims, he's been on the teem for 3 years." Said the girl I sort of knew. (She was a bit of a jerk.) "oh, I guess I just never saw you." I said sort of embarrassed. P.S: a "heat" is one group of people in a race and a "25 freestyle" means they swam one length of the pool doing freestyle/front crawl.
