Trapped in a Tower

A man invited me and some other people into his big ‘tower’ that he had built himself; it kind of looked like a barn but really tall. For some reason you enter at the highest part of the tower by climbing up a staircase on the outside and then walking through a door. Once we were all in, we were told to make our way to the ground, firstly walking down sets of ramps, then ladder type things, stairs at one point and then ladders again. This was exhausting of course, and by the time we reached the bottom everyone was very tired. The man then said something like “Now you will have to make your way up to the holes in the ceiling and climb out, because that’s your only way out”, but looking up, we all realised that climbing out of the holes in the ceiling was impossible, because there was no way up to the ceiling. The man then left somehow, likely through a door that he then locked, and basically left us all to die. I passed out at one point and was somehow rescued by people who came into the tower as they heard banging and yelling, but by that point, everyone else was dead, including those who had walked back up all the ladders, stairs and ramps and jumped to their deaths.
