Old Friend

I dreamt about a friend I haven't talked to since graduation. She and I were close and she helped me a lot when I was going through a big heart break. In the dream, we were on our way to school, like we used to. We were riding the bus, and as we were getting off, I think our eyes met. When we got off and started walking toward the school, she walked beside me and said "Hey, how are you? It's been a while". I told her "Yea, It has been. I've been busy". I guess I was feeling awkward because I couldn't look at her. Luckily I spot some other friends and try to go say hello, but she stops me. It was so out of character for her and she asks me, "Why have you ignored me? Why haven't you talked to me? I thought we were friends?". I am assuming I got heated because I ended up dragging her somewhere where we were out of view. I start "Do you really wanna know why I've avoided you? It's because..." In that moment I wanted to tell her how mad I was, how heartbroken I was, how dissapointed I was, and I wanted to grab her by the arms and kiss her, tell her I loved her. Despite all that I told her to forget it. She tried to get it out of me, but I wasn't budging. The rest of the dream is insignificant. It's just me going to an empty classroom.
