We are somewhere doing some outside work; and, while working on the soil, I chew on several small pieces of metal that I find because it's a habit. We move to another location to do work. While working, my brother tells me that one of the other workers, who is also his friend, wants to hear me rap while he plays instrumental rap beats from his car. I'm feeling very confident in my rap skills, believing that those who will hear me freestyle will be very impressed. I am not nervous at all. He plays the instrumental, and all of a sudden, I feel like something is getting caught up on the right side of my throat. My fear is if I don't get it out quickly, it might get stuck in my wind pipe and cause me to choke. So now I'm carefully trying to pull whatever it is from the back of the right side of my throat without accidently pushing it back, while in a hurry so I can rap when it's my turn to jump in on the instrumental. I get a hold of it with two fingers and slowly start pulling it out. It's coming out as a string of metal. It's starts to feel like it's taking a long time to pull it all out. I'm pulling and pulling and pulling. It's also confusing because I don't remember swallowing metal. I finally get it all out. What a relief.
