the big game

I had a dream that I was back in high school (I'm 38) and was playing for the schools basketball team. The 76ers Ben Simmons was also on the team. It was the day of the district championship and it was also the opposing teams talent show that day. Ben and I somehow signed up to do a Queen medley of Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You into We Are the Champions. At one point I remember realizing that may signing up for the schools talent show on the day of a big game was maybe not the best idea but Ben would have hear it. "Fuck it man were doing it" My Mom showed up to support me and Bens mom showed up but was really unsupportive to him and told him all this stuff about his game to break his confidence. The talent show started and we were sixth but never got to go on because I woke up. I remember this long haired metal kid came in and had big wings on to look like a demon. It was pretty cool. An acquaintance I used to live with do a short time named Lil Zack was there and was being a bulky to my oldest friend Michael who always got picked on growing up and in high school. Zack spit in his mouth and I told him it wasn't cool. also my friend Evan was there and I remember him describing himself to someone from the other school as a "tall handsome skinny man" and I remember thinking it was douchey. ha. While all that was going on there was a search and rescue mission for my Uncle Charlie because he had fallen in the susquehanna river. I remember talking to the medic/officer who was a female and asking her how many bodies were in there "at least one that we know of" I told her it was my uncle. The weird thing is I did have an Uncle David who fell off a railroad bridge and drowned in that river a few months before I was born. I knew I had to get back to the school to do the show and play the game but I woke up before any of that could happen
