Staplers apparently cause cancer...

A kid I used to be friends with and some other kid were trying to take a stapler, but for some reason, the teacher gave it to me and made sure they didn’t take it, and if they did take it, I would have to call the cops. I really didn’t want to get the cops involved in a very minor situation and most likely waste their time when they could be helping people that have real problems, but as expected, they immediately run over begging for the stapler, so I tried to make up excuses why they couldn’t have it. “Staplers cause cancer,” my stupid ass said. Eventually, I decided, “you know what? Fuck it,” and gave it to them.
