first proper lucid experience

Date: 6/8/2017

i'm pretty drunk and tired so i knew i had a chance of lucid dreaming because i could fall asleep instantly. The dream started off with me running and opening doors and suddenly realised that i could actually really feel the door handle. i felt like i was completely there but I don't think i had much control over what i was doing. Went through a couple more doorways and crawled under a brick wall. This is when I moved in my bed slightly which completely ruined the illusion and i got that sinking feeling where reality just falls away. I woke up then went back to sleep. Me, Lissie, and Eilidh were talking and Lissie said "that's so Jevan!" (my name) "that reminds me of the time you got your haircut and were just sitting on a park bench." This part of the dream was like a prologue because i jumped into that scene and i was sitting on a park bench. I saw this heard of cats of all different varieties walking past with a basket. Then Lissie and Eilidh turn up and Lissie says "that's so Jevan!" then we go to the pub. I really hate how I don't remember this but we emerge unexpectedly from an adventure or theme park ride up some steps to behind the bar in the pub. We get pints and go find a seat. Apparently we walk past Kim Desmond and she shouts in my ear about ham and slaps my bum but i didn't hear her. We find an empty room with just a girl who works there and once again were talking about how we're the funniest people in the world and we say the weirdest shit. The girl who works there seems exhausted and is joining in on our conversation but it's so weird that she cant keep up. We leave with our pints and go to my house and sit in my garden (this is not my real-life house or garden). Once again the heard of cats walk past and I say "look at that heard of cats." and beckon them over with kissing noises but they hiss at me and they start walking over. I grab a big pink plastic baseball bat and start swinging to shoo them away. It doesn't work and angers them even more. It's clear the Orange tabby cat is the leader. Then they all grow and transform into seven-foot grotesque aliens which are brightly coloured. They have weapons and guns and syringes and they're trying to take me out. The Orange tabby cat has turned into a giant purple praying mantis type alien but they all still have cat eyes. i run around dodging them for ages and at one point go over to my dad and his friends who are also in the garden (they're all bald) and my dad doesn't believe that the aliens are real and he thinks my friends are just dressed up and we're pulling an elaborate prank on them. The aliens eventually get me and drag me inside and lock me in my room until they figure out what to do with me. I escape through a window that slides up and I have to do it so slowly otherwise it will make a sound. Then i get inside the big double glazing and have to open another window and shut the one behind me. I finally get out unnoticed and this is when I wake up. I had another minidream where i saw a cat being stroked and its eyes glinted at me. This is when i realised that every cat on earth had been replaced with alien shapeshifters without us knowing and i would have to live the rest of my life in fear from every cat because i could see in my eyes that they all hate me and know i know their secret.
