Ungrateful indie fan concert

I helped some guy a little with his music to make him popular. Next thing he had a lot of fans. There was a sort of concert in a school gym like room. At a certain point he was thanking a lot of famous people who were asked to come to the front, but not me. I went anyway and sat next to a girl who then called me a "snorchinees" (mustached-Chinese in Dutch). I proceeded to call her names in Japanese and she did the same to my surprise.
