Recording engineer session

I was put in charge of recording an audio drama Who is performed outside it was a comedy and the reason music and dialogue but I did not know about this I was not informed that I would be the recording artist insult only brought a tape recorder I realize I would have to bring my digital recorder and microphones next session We had to record a song a few times it was windy out I was wondering where to place the microphones I was worried nothing would come out right I was in charge of editing and mixing the piece when it was done It was a nightmare not a good feeling
