Dead beheaded python in my bed

I dreamt of a python snake being at the foot of my bed, under the covers where I had not seen it, dead with eggs in its mouth and it's head cut off. I noticed a tail piece hanging off and called my dad into my room, to which he said he had the same thing happen in his bed. Later in the dream I was at the beach, where I was younger with my parents, it felt very sentimental and nostalgic. There was a steam of water connecting part of the dry sand to the body of water. My father was standing at the top of it, as I was in the middle watching the water flow over my feet. What could this possibly mean?
