Flies in my hair

We've been having a lot of flies in my house this year, it's super humid and end of summer time so it's not surprising, however, they really gross me out. Last night I had a nightmare about them. In my dream I was sitting down in my room and there were all these flies crawling in my hair. I have super thick long curly hair for context. I could feel them crawling on my scalp and hear them buzzing. I ran my hands through my hair desperately trying to get them out, they were stuck in there and I kept accidentally squashing them so my hair was coated in dead flies. It was awful. So disgusting and gut wrenchingly horrifying.
