Evolved Animals

I had a dream where animals on earth evolved to be bigger, faster, and stronger than humans. The dream skipped around to deferent places from my life and each time it skipped I was a new person. I only remember the story of one of the people that I was, though. The one person I do remember being was on a mission to retrieve something from this deadly ghost house thing and all I managed to do was get myself strangled by a demon who then proceeded to take my soul.
