Confusing dream

I've been having a lot of weird, fairly dark dreams lately and they keep seeming more and more real. This dream has haunted me for the last few days and I need to get it off me chest. I don't remember the whole dream, but I will explain the part that has stuck around.. Okay, well I remember it being a fairly normal dream to begin with then at some point, a person was holding me down and carving a word into the bottom part of my leg with a kitchen knife... it felt so real, down to the stream of blood pooling down my leg... I was screaming in the dream and I woke up with a searing pain in the same spot. it took me serval minutes to calm down and realize it was only a dream. I wish I could remember the word being carved into my leg or what the person looked like... but it was the scariest dream I've had in a while.
