Gift card

I was at a friend's wedding, but for some reason I felt very awkward and uncomfortable. They didn't want gifts but I left one anyway. My family left and I told them I wanted to go to JC Penney because I had a gift card and wanted to exchange it for cash. My gift card was actually to Shopko (good grief) but they seemed like the same thing in my dream. We have to do some other errands first, and while I'm sitting in the car reading the card I see that I can do it online. That seems like a better option to me so I say we don't need to go to J.C. Penney after all.
