Apocalypse Wow

In this dream I woke up in a dystopian world. It was in a large city, something like New York and everything was dark. The skies were cloudy and blacked out and everything seemed chaotic, dirty and bad. I think there was a part about being taken to this place in the back of a truck or a train, where we threw things out that were being stored in there. Lots of rough and tough, bad guy men everywhere. There was a small part after getting off the train where me and the other woman I am with go into someone's apartment to heal and get cleaned up. Now, in the dystopian world, it's me and another woman and we're trying to get to a good, safe place. Everywhere seems unsafe. There's a woman, who we can tell has been there for a while driving a carriage type truck, she has blonde hair and seems trustworthy. We ask her for a ride and she takes us on but you can tell she is hesitant. We go to this dilapidated building and go inside, everything is so dark and spooky, it's like from the Matrix or something. There are guards and scary men all through the building but you just have to act meek to get past them, like you are doing nothing wrong. We get to the room we're trying to get to and it's quite small with something that looks like a dvd player and a TV. The dvd player has a slot where you put in a loonie and you get to sort of pass out and experience anything you want, you could go back in time and relive a memory or create something new. This idea kind of scared me and I was unable to commit to trying it. The blonde woman who helped us had her loonie on a key chain so she could use it again and again and she put it in and basically passed out on the floor. She was going into memory land. I had the vague sense that she had had children and a husband and lost everything in this new world. I was sort of backing up, not wanting to experience this trippy technology and as I back up the place turns into a home with friends in it, we're still in the dystopian world but at least I feel a tiny bit safer. The energy is very sneaky, almost like at any moment you could be caught and killed but you still had to try and enjoy life. There were maybe 4 or 5 of us there and we were talking about 2 people coming over for dinner. Vive was there and she was high on something, I think Whitney was there too because moose was there. They were excited about the guests and had a coffee can full of drugs. She spread it out on the floor and it was like pink rock candy, sort of sandy...she said it was MDMA, speed and something else. I flash forward to think about going back to the dvd room and look over the city and see how far it is, apparently it's in the Louvre and it's waaaay across the city. I try to hustle to find a loonie on a keychain and I think I get one and start to go out into the world and then I change my mind and take some of the drugs. I feel the ecstacy in my body and things seem to get easier, the world seems safer and I have a bit more abandon. I go down to the store to buy some food and I fill up my backpack, the line to buy is so long so I contemplate just walking out. I'm not sure what else happens! The end.
