Extremely Bright Light

2:04 AM. I just woke up, still checking the laws of physics around me if they’re still as I know them. I was in my bed as I am now on the phone with my mother. We were arguing over what time I should come out to see her around Christmas. I had my blankets around me as I do now. It was night like it is now. Then I saw this extremely bright light shine through… everywhere. As if the sun suddenly appeared and was a thousand times closer. This light was also hot, but not too bad. I thought I just witnessed a nuclear explosion. This light was EVERYWHERE. It only lasted for a couple seconds. And then it went away and it was fully night time again. I talked to my mother a bit more, but with confusion about the bright light. And then the nuclear-bright light enveloped me and the whole of my vision again. It was hot as it was before. Then it went away again just as before. I told my mom I’d have to call her back. Something was going on. Then it happened a third time exactly as before. After that I went downstairs and asked my roommate if he saw it too. He was watching the news and he said, “Yeah. They’re all talking about it right now.” I woke up and checked everything. The laws of physics are the same and everything seems normal. I honestly thought I might have died. Everything seems in order. Did anyone else see that bright light?
