VR town showdown

Basically the entire town was set up so that a VR zombie attack could occur. It looked like the old west, with houses, a sheriff's office, things lk'e that. I however hate zombies, a'd my gf knows it. So I was given a lovely VR game with swords, loads of alcohol a'd a screen with the game everyone was playing to pass the time away. The game started with police cars racing through the town and then everyone dressed up in their gear like ready player one and put on the headset. At first I was happy to ignore them but then I became curious and ended up walking around a'f looking at everyone's set up. I found a few friends I knew who had weird things, treadmills, one was duct taped in the air. It was fun. They would occasionally come out to find something in the house as part of them game or have a snack and I would join them.
