boring school nights

I had a dream that I had to go to school on repeat. Instead of humans waking up in the mornings, humans woke up at night. So, instead of waking up at five in the morning to go to school, I was expected to wake up at five in the evening. Then, you arrive at school around seven or eight at night. It’s basically the same concept as “regular school”, but you know, dreams can have a funny way of switching things up. Homework wasn’t a thing. Instead of homework, I had to go to school wearing a certain costume or looking a certain way. So, for example, the teacher might’ve said something like, “Tomorrow, you must arrive at school dressed as a vampire!” It was a Halloween concept, basically. Things like that. Every night, when I had to get ready, I’d nearly fail my look and end up going to school with poor grades. I was failing, and to make matters more stressful for me, it was all on repeat. Every time I failed, time would restart and the next day would already come, just for me to fail again. Every night, I failed. Came to school with the wrong outfit, or an outfit I wasn’t impressed with. Every night, I seemed to disappoint and stress out my mom, who would pick me up from home and drive me to school. It... was torturous for me, to say the least. Talk about stressful. Honestly, I thought this dream was pretty boring, despite it being a nightmare. Because of that, I didn’t want to really write it down, but boring or not, a dream is a dream.
