Becoming a god

I was in The Percy Jackson universe. Percy was having visions of a chosen one aka me for some reason, and so while on a quest he saw me and basically kidnapped me. He saw me and immediately just grabbed me and started shouting to his friend “I found them. It’s her. It’s her. The chosen one.” And I was like “What in the world are you talking about let me go you lunatic.” He then explained everything. I don’t know what he explained but suddenly I knew what was going on and what to do. Cut to us finding this old lava earth god. He had a ring that people could ask to use but once you put it on you couldn’t take it off. You got his power for 24 hours and had to take care of his business but if you weren’t worthy the you would die before those 24 hours were done and the ring would transport back to the god. After much arguing on my part and convincing on Percy’s part I took the ring prepared to die. I somehow survived the 24 hours. The god appeared to me and said that I was his next incarnation and that his powers and business go to me. I was left in charge of his coal business and had to run it but when I was taking care of one of the kids I learned the workers there were not human. They were super fast, strong, and lived super long and apparently I was becoming like them but better. I was becoming a god. Then apparently my ex made a copy of my factory key and broke in to my room in the factory. It ended with me getting one of the employees to get him out.
