An uneducated crush

I was at work (in a place and with people I didn't recognize), and I was trying to get stuff done, as it was a busy time. Some guy kept talking to me, and I was trying to be polite to him while also working to keep the pace going of my job, so I don't fall behind. The more the guy talked to me, I started to noticed two things: he liked me and wanted to impress me, but he was clearly uneducated and tried using big words he could not pronounce. I continued to be kind to him while on the inside I was becoming more annoyed and impatient. He had a familiarity about him, but I don't think I knew him as a youngster. He reminded me of a younger version of one of the vendors in a hotel where I used to work.
