Grandpa's Garden

I'm visiting the community where my grandparents live. We walked by a park on the sidewalk we're one of their friends is parked beside us, leaning against the car to chat. The garden is next to a little plot of grass like where they have the trees growing on the side of the street. Next to it is a cement block kind of like a decorative bench almost. Leaning up against a massive carrot, the size of my calf. I remark that it's huge to my grandparents and their friends. They told me that it's from last year they thought it was a bush. The rest of the garden has been harvested but my grandparents were so proud of themselves. We're continuing down the sidewalk to a gated garden or cemetery at the end. It doesn't have any kind of ominous feeling.
