How did my sister's dress get wet?

I was babysitting my little sister in this unfamiliar house, and I can't remember what she was doing, but her dress got wet. She got on a bed after that and I told her she should change out of her light blue dress, so she pulled her dress over her head only to have another dress underneath. This one was navy blue and floral designed like the dress I have irl. I checked to see if that one was wet too. It didn't feel wet, but she took that one off too anyways. So now she was walking around naked. I think I threw her dresses in the garbage??? I remember throwing something in this garbage can. I was looking for a big garbage can like the kitchen garbage can, but I realized there was a small one where I was, so I used that one. I feel like my sister was helping me clean in that scene too, throw things away. I told her she needed to get dressed. She never did though, but somehow she had clothes on in the next scene. I guess my dream omitted that part because it didn't see it as important. We were in my mom's room for some reason (not her mom-she is my half sister) and we were playing some game on my phone or rather she was playing it. It was way more sophisticated than any kids' game, but she was so good at it. I thought to myself that she was going to grow up to be really smart. The last thing I remember in my dream was I was at the bottom of the stairs with my other sister in our house and we could hear something going on upstairs or we saw a shadow or something on the far end of the wall almost out of our view from where she stood. It felt like we stood there for a while, trying to figure out what was going on in our room. Then, my sister finally went up and she was like "oh my god! Come up here, you've gotta see this!" It didn't sound good. So, I reluctantly went up the stairs and to my room. There was a dog in my hamper who looked injured. We saw some photos or video of these kids in Halloween costumes. My mom's boyfriend was in the pictures too, although he looked nothing like himself, but like a young boy. That's how he was dressed in the pictures. I think there was one of just him and then one of him with kids who were dressed up for Halloween. So I knew he was dressed as a boy for Halloween. He wore a red sweatshirt. I was like "this is creepy and weird." We suspected my mom's boyfriend was behind this. Then, the last thing that happened before I woke up was I heard this audio recording of what I knew was my mom's boyfriend saying "hurt Earnest."
