I was standing in the middle of a classroom with Sua of Dreamcatcher beside me. Apparently we're having a Music class with my high school Social Studies teacher, Ms. Rosales, facilitating. We'll be doing a singing activity that's why all the seats are arranged to the sides of the room. The teacher was sitting by the table in the middle so I approached her and told her that I don't do well in singing. I explained to her that when I try singing in a high pitch, I only project air and no sound. Feeling like something's stuck in my throat. (I can't explain it well but I hope you get the idea) With a straight face on, Ms. Rosales asked, "Are you pregnant?" Taken aback by the sudden question, "Huh? No, I'm not and I don't think that has something to so with my singing." "Okay." She then turned to the class, "So who's going first?" I raised my hand thinking that it would be better to get this over with as soon as possible. Ms. Rosales handed us the lyric sheet to share then Sua started singing. Sua is the main dancer of Dreamcatcher but she also has great vocals. It was nice to hear her sing live and in a different genre than they usually do. She sang the first two verses before handing me the paper. I got the chorus part and to my surprise my voice sounded good. As much as possible, I tried singing loudly with the voice coming from my diaphragm. Thankfully there wasn't a high pitch part so my worry was for nothing.. or so I thought. When it came to the next verse, Sua wouldn't take the lyric sheet from even though I was already shoving it to her. She just walked towards the bench in the back of the room and laid down. I got flustered and didn't know what to do so I just ended up singing her part as well. After a few lines, the teacher approached me so I stopped singing. I told her that it got messed up when Sua wouldn't sing her part. I shoved the lyric sheet again to Sua then searched for the lyrics on my phone but the page I clicked on was full of ads.
