hike gone wrong

I was with my family hiking and we came across a steep hill that seems to go all around, there was a way past on the other side but there were fences and a path near the cliff, but as we were walking by my mom slipped and slid all the way down the hill into a hole, then suddenly a metal bar fell off the fence and jabbed right through her head. Apparently that messed with her hearing and caused a painful ringing noise which made her grab the metal rod and a somehow scoop the insides of her ear out to stop the noise... Then I woke up
