i never got my mexican lunch

it was my off period in school, so i decided to go out to eat during it. i walked to starbucks and i ordered a drink and a dessert. afterwards, i wanted something to eat for lunch and right by the starbucks was a new mexican food restaurant that just opened up. it was 11:30 and my off period would end at 11:55, so i thought i was safe. i headed to the restaurant, but the line was super long. i still decided to wait and then it was just a small group of people left to order. someone asked me to order, but i had no idea what i wanted because there was no menu or anything to show what i could get (the place was like a chipotle). soon, it became 11:55 and i not only didn’t get to eat lunch, but i was also late for my next class.
