Danielle and I were in a crashing car. We couldn’t control it. It was rolling over again and again down a cliff side, hitting road work barrels the whole way. At the bottom there was deep water. I was holding one of Danielle’s hands. I knew if I held on to it I could swim to the surface and save her. I pulled her out of the wreckage and the deep water by holding onto her one hand. I saved her life. [notes: The day prior, I wrecked on my roller skates and my body got very bruised and sore. This physical state may have supplied the feeling of being in a car crash. Also, my older sister struggles with addiction. People often feel like they have to “rescue” addicted individuals.]
