Townhouses, shoreline, stabbing

My dream was set in a shore town. Similar to Chicago but seemingly mixed with a smaller town aesthetic. Houses were set right alongside the shoreline, which had the larger mansions and bigger buildings such as museums and visiting points. I’ve been here before. There’s tons of transportation, trains, busses, easy streets to follow a route.. I had visited the water, even attended (possibly) the same place I had the previous night in my dream- a festival. This was in the same place/geographic location as these other dreams as well. I was eventually walking along a block with houses/townhouses. There was some smaller diners/stores along the street. As I walk up to my location to a house, someone, one other person begins to walk towards me in the block. I was only steps away from walking up the front stairs to the home, and this person that was all o f a sudden on the street with only me, walks up quietly and quickly, and stabs me in the stomach. I had continued to walk up the stairs and into the house to keep things calm and to avoid any further disturbance. I didn’t feel the pain but my hand was on my stomach. My dream had ended there and I woke up, googling why would I dream I got stabbed? I must keep an eye out for myself extra these days.
