Recurring Track Run (Kinda)

I was at my old middle school gym and class was seemingly about to start. One of the gym teachers at my high school appeared to be a teacher here (the nicest one). Everyone is standing around while the teachers wait to take roll call. I make my escape into the locker room so I can prepare myself. The locker rooms seem just as normal, except slightly larger with more “lockers” (that are really just baskets, because this irl school district is lame) and most of the lights were off. There may have been some honey colored wall plug-in lights, but I couldn’t say for certain because they seemed to be emanating, from a place that couldn’t realistically be so. I don’t remember what I did in here. I could have changed, but I don’t think that’s what I did, if anything. Once finished with whatever hypothetical tasks I had in the locker room, I approached one of the teachers, the nice one mentioned earlier. I told her I was a senior who was looking to join this class. My motives were simply to run the cool track PE students had to take. Apparently the track was unavailable unless you were a PE student and there were no exceptions. I told the teacher that I wanted to enroll because this would be the last time I was allowed to run the course and I REALLY wanted to do so. Unfortunately the dream ended before the teacher made the decision or I even got to see the track, but I knew exactly what it looked like because this was a(n infrequent) recurring scene in my dreams. The track was best viewed on a dreary day with lots of overcast clouds and maybe some morning dew. The dark brown/grey sticks from a windy night littered the forest paths that led to cool, dark, massive caves that I was so excited to see one more time. I really wanted to see the track just one more time, but maybe it’ll recur again some other night.
