A parade, wine and good times with many other known people. Laney saying goodbye. Me eyeing the tiny rooftop restaurant to go fetch a glass of wine. One of Laney’s friends offering to go get some out of the house for me. Laney’s mom busying herself in the kitchen. Laney was shoving off with two others on some adventure per usual.
