Fortify a house during zombie apocalypse

I'm in a very big house. It's another zombie apocalypse and I'm looking for food and come across some cans. I throw it hard on the ground to try to get it to open. It eventually does and somehow doesn't splash everywhere. It turns out someone is living in that house and I kind of remember it being a young boy. I offer him the food and we become friends. I think there's some kind of time skip but eventually the guy makes some kind of mistake and is eaten by zombies. I don't remember seeing it but I somehow know that's what happened. The dream sort of reboots and I'm back in the house at the beginning again. I search for food and come across cans. I think I throw it at least once before thinking to look for can openers. There happens to be one by the sink so I open it. I remember looking at the sink and it didn't seem to be clogged and I wondered if there was running water, but I don't turn it on to check. I go to find the boy again and offer him the food. I think there's another time skip again but somehow not. The boy is somehow a young man now but also somehow older than me. Also, I feel like the guy looked identical to Jim Parsons, the actor who played Sheldon Cooper but wasn't him. He shows me around and the house is very nice. It's down by a beach and there's a nice sunset. One of the rooms though is concerning. It's large, but instead of walls it's large window panes that gives you a great view.the area must be secure to some degree because I see joggers and I think Bill from work walking a dog. I'm not sure if they could see in, but no one appeared to notice me. The guy asks if we can go outside and if I could show him how to survive. We're outside now and we do a loop around the house. Toward the end, he playfully smacks a bush and I remember think he was too careless. He walks up to the backdoor of the house, opens the door and just walks in. Concerned that he doesn't lock it at all, I somehow call in security expert friends. One is a woman and another is a man. They fortify the door and install some high tech security camera that would show us whoever approaches the door. The woman explained how it all works to me while the man tested it out with the guy. I remember the rest of the house being upgraded and it felt super secure. I ponder if there would be a way to maybe install underground elevators or tunnels that would connect from home to house in case we ever had to lock down from the ground floor. I wake up roughly around this part.
