Boy and his Bulldog

I had a dog I couldn't keep anymore. He was a Bulldog. Already pretty grown, about full size. I met this little boy who lived across the street and asked him if he would like him. The boy was an orphan. He said yes, he would love to have him so I gave the dog to him and they went on their way. The next thing I know, I'm out shopping with my mom to this new store that just opened. It was kinda like a 99¢ store but more modernized with cute little nic knacks that you would probably see at Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters. There were only a few people inside. I couldn't stop thinking about that little boy. Then I saw roaches crawling in the store. The others did too. They were trying to kill them and the owner was just sitting there not knowing what was going on. She was looking down, still-faced and fist pressed on her cheek. It looked like she was reading. I was disappointed because I actually liked that store and didn't want it to shut down because of those darn bugs. Me and my mom left and as we were walking by the other shops, I saw the little boy and his new dog sitting outside at a store corner asking for money. The dog calmly sitting by his side with his head on the boy's lap. I ask what he's doing but I clearly knew he was asking for money. He tried to deny it. A moment later and the dog was gone. All I remember was that the little boy went looking for him, he couldn't find him and while we was on his way back to the orphanage, the dog made his way back. The owners tried to get him a new small dog and he was disappointed but as he walked further into the room, he saw his bulldog. Then I woke up.
