My chemistry teacher drowned

My 10th grade chem teacher was sitting on a small sand island, surrounded by the deep ocean. He had on a mask. He ripped off the mask and just plunged into the sea. I wasn’t really there with him but I was more of an observer. I watched as he drowned further and further deep. I think my brother might have drowned there as well, but I’m not completely certain.
