Play in the woods

The beginning of my dream consisted of driving to different parts of my town to find out that they were either getting bombed or there was a shooting. This part was really short. Then later was this part. We were having a play at what seemed like a summer camp in the woods. Topographically the woods were almost completely flat, but somebody mentioned that their was a steep coast nearby. We would practice the play inside some cabins and go somewhere away from the cabins to take a break. One of the times while coming back I was walking behind this girl I barely knew and we walked back to the camp with everybody else far behind, but the way we took back didn't seem right, but I really didn't care because everything looked normal when we got to the cabin everybody was already there, but they weren't moving and were completely still. We both walked into one of the rooms when she began to become smoke, but kept her shape and then would turn back. All of the people in the building came back to life and began to do this too. And they all looked at me while the girl choked me and talked about my birthday. This for some reason was really painful. This continued on for I don't really know how long until she began taking off her cloths while slowly becoming more permanently smokey. The building began phasing in and out of being smoke too, revealing that in was really standing in the middle of the ocean, but before I drowned, I appeared in the normal cabin where everybody was practicing the play again. When I tried to tell everybody about it they would just laugh and then ignore me. I told them that there was a smoke monster in the woods that could trick you into going the wrong direction, but they still ignored me and kept acting out their parts in the play.
