I’d gone on vacation to Slovenia (but it was spelled Slovena for whatever reason) and randomly met Adam Young (owl city) on the street. We’d ended up becoming friends sort of, and hung out all day with some other people we met. I remember being in the car late at night while he was driving and everyone else had fallen asleep. We’d been exploring out in a forest or something so now we were all exhausted. He was humming some song I’d never heard before and I was like “wow he’s writing a new song!
